How Far is Paris to London By Train- NewZulu

A day trip to Paris from London is the perfect addition to a trip to England! As a result of the efficient and fast Eurostar train, it’s never been easier to pay a visit to Paris for a single day. 1 day isn’t sufficient for Paris — ideally, you need to spend as much time there as you can. But not everyone has a lot of additional time to spend. Is it worth it if you just have one day to spare? Absolutely — carrying the train from London is always worth it. Even if all you have is 1 day, you are still able to make it the best day ever. But if you are only visiting Paris for a single day, it is best to plan your trip carefully so as you can you get as much from it.

No matter what the weather is, you must dress neatly and wear shoes with good arch support. I wear a scarf apartments, a leather jacket, and jeans.

What should you do with a single day in Paris?

The perfect one-day itinerary in Paris includes exploring Notre-Dame and the Marais, with my favourite crepes and galettes on the planet for lunch, visiting a gorgeous art museum, and seeing the Eiffel Tower up close.

Eurostar trains depart from London’s St. Pancras station, arrive in Paris’s Gare du Nord, and take roughly two hours and 20 minutes each way. This is actually the Chunnel train to Paris that goes underwater, beneath the English Channel. You go from London’s center to the middle of Paris, plus the train journey is extremely pleasant.

You could fly from London to Paris, however I would not suggest it for a day excursion. The flight only takes approximately one hour and 10 minutes, but you have to factor in getting to the airport 90 minutes before your flight, and virtually all of the London airports and all of Paris airports can be found significantly beyond the city and take a very long time to get there.

(If you insist on flying into Paris for the afternoon, I recommend either flying from London City Airport, which is centrally located though frequently extremely expensive, or flying from Heathrow and taking Heathrow Express from Paddington Station, which requires just 15 minutes.)

You’ll need your passport when moving to Paris, whether it’s by any other method, airplane, or train. (The sole exception is a government-issued ID if you are an EU citizen.)
